The OTA Thread Episode VII

When i was 15-20, every friday i had to walk 15km to a place, and sunday i had to walk 15km back the the other place.

When i was 4-10 and we visited my dad on weekends, we walked like 20 km each way also.

I'm kinda used to walking, even when i had a car, i only used it for getting to and from work, and i walked or used my bicycle to get around.

Icecream is actually 1 of few things that soothes my stomach, but it's so unhealthy, so i rarely eat it

I would walk the half mile to my bus stop everyday from kindergarten all the way until junior year. It wasn't bad but we couldn't walk to school because we lived in the country. The roads weren't safe to walk cause there was no shoulder. So we had to drive or ride the bus everywhere. Probably explains why I didn't go over to many friends houses... When you have 3 to 4 kids to watch over, it is hard to drag one child somewhere without dragging everyone.

sidewalks???? what is this you speak of??? (never had them in my town either...but we still walked to school....I do remember when the painted a yellow line down the middle of our road--we all thought: 'wow, our street is now a real road!'....still had to walk on the side of the road or in the grass.

never owned a bicycle.....got to ride my sisters a few times, but after I messed up my knee in hs-- never again.

so its a new year....any plans???

Blind corners and people speeding make for a bad road to walk no matter what time of day it is.

Plans? Work and plan a wedding... I think that is about it lol

yeah our little road was only 20mph so usually not too many speeders (had some who thought it was a race track....)

my plans are to get well...and help my family.

also, i was at a mate new year, 6 people, just chillin' and relaxing, went home at 2 am and got a good night sleep.

I'm getting married next year. Got engaged this past December so now we have to plan it.

I was at my fiancee's parents with her for New Years, like usual. It was fun. Though now I have to go back to work and I miss getting to sleep in.

First day back with students... 6th and 7th hour... Omg... Wanted to kill them. Freaking squirrely as can be... On a positive note, I picked up my new XBox controller and Blu-Ray player.

He'll probably put them up on Facebook, or his lady will, hmmmm, inviting random people in an off topic forum about a game, there could be fun, but there could also be less fun in doing so.

And i still have not attended 1 wedding yet, ever ;( and there's like 6 from my family that got married so far, so now i have said, the first 1 to ever invite me to a wedding, my present for them will be me playing the wedding song on a lut.

Hmmmm, 6th and 7th hour?, long day.

and i agree on the contacting support, i got my account back 2½ years after. They are very pleasant people, my mate also got 2 of his accounts merged together.

my hs had 8 hours....and yeah those last few periods were....torture!!!

(pwnd--you could at least put up pics of the ring---that is if you actually did the asking the old fashioned way!).

weddings...hate them....my first was my oldest brothers back in 76...had to wear the most horriblest dress every made by man (no I was not in the wedding party--most brothers dont want their 10 year old sister doing anything but staying out of the way)....next was my sisters wedding---she got married in 80? in march--so the dresses were these heavy (again horrible) things....which since my mom likes to reuse clothing (wore my brothers clothes many times ) I had to wear for my jh graduation--which took place in JUNE in a gym which had NO AC!!...so here I am wearing this long sleeved heavy material dress in the 100+ temps...trying NOT to faint! (thanks mom)....got to see my last brothers wedding, my sister-in-laws 2nd wedding (NOT to my brother) and her sisters wedding....and my friend from boise--was in her wedding (nice dress still have it--though grape is really not my color ) ...and I believe that may have been all the ones I have been to --besides my own .
they are all just a grab for gifts and for the families to get together (had very few friends at my wedding since we got married out of state--where my family was at the time)....and it was not the happiest day of my life, sorry to break the misconception about woman and their wedding day.

well this is the 2nd day I have woken up feeling nauseated almost to the point of getting sick about it....really would like to know what this latest whatever is
didnt eat until dinner time yesterday and even then I had to choke it down.....guess its time to find a doctor (new insurance, old doc isnt in it---)...

Ya I'm at work from 7:15 till 3:45 M-F. 7 periods. Good fun.

We aren't inviting too many friends. We both always prefer to have a few close friends rather than a lot of friends/acquaintances.
